Salutation to Adinatha (Śiva) who expounded the knowledge of Haṭha Yoga, which like a staircase leads the aspirant to the high pinnacled Raja Yoga.

Yoga has been part of my life since childhood, when I practiced along with Hatha Yoga VHS tapes with my grandmother. What began as an early fascination became a defining interest, and eventually a lifelong study.
In 2006, I completed a two year, 500-hour teacher training program with an emphasis on Sivananda Yoga and Vinyasa. I began teaching regularly in 2007 and have continued to study with a wide range of teachers throughout the United States, India, and Nepal.
My work helps students expand their range of motion, develop resilient strength, and move with greater intelligence and ease. In class, we revisit familiar yoga postures through the practical lenses of anatomy and biomechanics. My approach draws inspiration from Katonah Yoga®, dance, weightlifting, mobility training, and my background as a massage therapist.
I am equally informed by movement science and traditional practice. Philosophically, my teaching is rooted in a deep love of Indic source texts, particularly those of the Haṭha Yoga and Sarvāmnāya Tantra traditions.
My classes are precise, conversational, and exploratory. I invite students into an active dialogue with their own embodiment, using curiosity, intention, and clear attention as tools for practice. The result is a strength and mobility centered practice that supports greater resilience, capacity, and ease in both body and mind.
